Wadi Rum Nature Tours and Camp offers accommodation in the protected area of Wadi Rum, the stunning desert of southern Jordan, 10km from Wadi Rum Village. Perfect for stargazing, the Bedouin camp enjoys beautiful scenery in a peaceful and tranquil location away from the village and other camps.
The camp is made up of several Bedouin tents for sleeping and a cosy communal areayou can enjoy a glass of traditional Bedouin tea or a delicious home-cooked meal with fresh local quality products. During the day you can opt to go hiking, go on a jeep tour or ride a camel. Bedding and towels are provided, and the camp is equipped with showers and toilets. Hot solar heated showers are available.
The nearest airport is King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba, 39 km from the property. Buses and taxis run from Aqaba and Petra to Rum village,you will be met by a member of the camp team.
The hotel day starts from hour 00:00 and ends at 11:00.
Please note that it is possible upon request to spend a night under the stars. The property will take you farthe desert, away from the light of other camps and the villageyou will be surrounded by the beauty of the desert. This is best suited in the warmer months, but can be done at any time of the year. We provide blankets and mattresses, however you may bring your own sleeping bag.
